Chopin Suite

On the first floor of 12 Place Vendme, the lovely Countess Potocka once sang arias by Bellini and Pergolese for the master. His music still seems to be in the air of the Chopin Suite, beneath its superb allegorical ceiling (a listed national monument) and over its 18th century marquetry parquet. A world of aesthetic beauty, made vivid by the warm shades of the Directoire wall hangings. Under the gaze of the maestro, a suite vibrant with light and history. It is even said that on some evenings the opening notes of a mazurka can be heard floating on the air
